All of the beautiful Pewter car models on this site are hand crafted in the English Midlands - in finest English pewter, one time heart of the British motor industry. These superb 1/57th scale models are testament to the skills still to be found in the area.

The collection whilst weighted toward marque models from the halcyon days of motoring also include many modern-day gems. They provide perfect and unusual ideas for gifts at Christmas or Birthdays or as a treat for yourself at any time of year.

Manufacturing Process

Our unique 1/57th scale diecast collection is inspired by classic cars from the past and present. Each model detailed with a descriptive plate affixed to it’s plinth where appropriate.

Each car in the collection is cast using the centrifugal casting process to achieve the extremely high definition required . Cast in finest solid English pewter each piece is then hand crafted before being hand polished to a fine lustre and finally coated with it’s protective ‘glazed’ finish and affixed to its plinth.

Viewed as a group the collection forms an interesting insight into cars of the past along with many more recent models. The satin ‘glazed’ finish allowing the stylised models to be compared with each other on an equal basis--illustrating the constant changes in design and shape that have taken place through the decades.

New releases will continue to be introduced each year.

PEWTER  - a white metal is an alloy, the main constituent being tin (tin is considered 4th in order of most valuable metals in the world)

Each car in the collection is hot die cast (aprox 240c) in solid high grade pewter - 90% tin (the remaining 10% being made up from trace elements including copper and antimony.

IMPORTANT!

These models are Solid Pewter & not aluminium powder and resin as many other models being sold as pewter tend to be.
